But, perhaps the oddest expenditure was the over $55,000 the campaign spent at Barnes & Noble. Now, we all know that Trump is not a big reader so what could he possibly have bought? The Internet abhors a vacuum, as we all know, and was quick to make suggestions. The Daily Beast‘s Olivia Nuzzi tweeted out:

After about a 10-minute delay, the refs ejected Serge Ibaka (which was the biggest loss because it impacted the result of the game) and Matt Barnes, and charged Blake Griffin with a technical foul. While an idle and heated Barnes retreated to the locker room, he expressed his frustrations during the third quarter via the following tweet. He deleted it within minutes, but not before

The business was purchased in 1971, by for $1.2 million. By then it had been badly mismanaged over the prior two years and consisted only of "a significantly reduced wholesale operation and a single retail location—the store at 105 Fifth Avenue." In 1974, Barnes & Noble became the first bookstore to advertise on television and a year later, the company became the first bookseller in America to discount books, by selling best-selling titles at 40% off the publishers' list price. During the 1970s and 1980s, Barnes & Noble opened smaller discount stores, which were eventually phased out in favor of larger stores. They also began to publish their own books to be sold to mail-order customers. These titles were primarily affordable reissues of out-of-print titles and selling them through mail-order catalogs allowed Barnes & Noble to reach new customers nationwide.

Last night, the LA Clippers and Oklahoma City Thunder got into a bit of a scuffle. It all began when Serge Ibaka and Blake Griffin’s arms got tangled after a rebound. Ibaka wanted to free his arm, and applied a little extra force when “getting rid of” Griffin, as Jeff Van Gundy so eloquently described the incident. LA Clippers Matt Barnes enters the fray, shoves Ibaka, and then egos explode.
