25 years ago I was invited to imagine Baltimore in 2010 for the Baltimore Sunday Sun magazine. Well, 2010 will be here any minute. For Ignite Baltimore, I shared the published and mostly unpublished sketches that I created in 1984 and some ideas about Baltimore’s next 25 years. This presentation is not about being ‘right”, but rather about possibilities. This presentation was made on October 22nd, 2009, at the Walters’ Art Museum, on Charles Street, in Baltimore for Ignite Baltimore 4. The original article was written by Laura Fry and included work by architects Robert Priest, Peter Doo, and Kenneth Warwick.
We banded together with Katrina Ford and band Celebration back in 2011 and shot video and stills for a piece for Baltimore Sun Magazine. Our collaboration included Drury Bynum on direct/shoot/edit, John Davis with stills, Katie & Danny Elder on hair and makeup and Jamie Campbell & Melissa Kirby did wardrobe styling from sources all over Baltimore. It was a long, fun and very rainy day!
The Baltimore gallery was the venue for Baltimore Sun Magazine’s recent photo shoot for their mid February 2013 issue. The shoot was a fun twist to our normal gallery day: John-John paired the shoes, dresses and handbags with the art on the walls. Check out some behind the scenes photos of how they pulled it together.
