The biggest talking point for Season 11 is that it continues the show’s recent pattern of cast changes. After replacing Jeanne Tripplehorn for Season 10, Jennifer Love Hewitt opted not to return for Season 11 and her role is taken over by Aisha Tyler as Dr. Tara Lewis on a recurring basis. Tyler is best known for voicing Lana Kane on Archer but she’s also a very good live-action actress, and it’s great to see her get this opportunity.
Messer in a week from «I don’t want a new Prentiss» to «we’re thrilled to have Jeanne Tripplehorn join our team as a profiler». It’s the mediawork and social media representation from CBS Criminal Minds (Writers, showrunner, actors) which throws me away, honesty and being a part of a whole – is lacking as big as the grand canyon. And not Tripplehorn joining the cast – wish her good luck.
