Parisi House on the Hill (Parisi House) is Santa Clara County’s first mother-and-child residential alcohol and drug treatment facility, allowing mothers to focus on their six-month treatment program without the emotional distraction caused when separated from their child. Parisi House provides living facilities for 20 mothers and 22 children (up to age 5) who have made the choice to end the cycle of substance abuse.
Founded in 1994, the Parisi House on the Hill drug and alcohol treatment facility opened with just 16 beds! Today, the expanded facility houses up to 20 mothers and 22 children, includes a large laundry facility, two large kitchens and family rooms, as well as playgrounds with custom-designed structures for the children.
Parisi House on the Hill, located atop a beautiful mountain setting in a rural area within Santa Clara County was expanded in 2004, allowing us to double our capacity and impact! This expansion would not have been possible without the support and shared vision of our special contributors Joe Parisi and John Sobrato.
The house on the hill has a wicked reputation. Those who dare to darken its door often leave steeped in madness and despair—if they leave at all.
