Robert Wesley Jones, who was forever anchored to Martha’s Vineyard even as he fully embraced a multifaceted life as a Marine, businessman, educational advisor, superb skier, and recreational boat captain, died on Tuesday, July 21, in the arms of his wife, Elaine Savory Jones, at Mount Sinai/Beth Israel Hospital in New York City, three days short of his 86th birthday.
Robert William Jones, 80, Camdenton, MO formerly of DeLand, IL, passed away at 1:45 PM June 23, 2013 at Windsor Estates, Camdenton, MO. Funeral services will be 11 AM Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Trigg & Calvert DeLand Chapel, DeLand, IL with Pastor Rick Morrow officiaiting. Burial will follow at DeLand Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation will Thursday, June 27, 2013 from 10-11 AM at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Legion Post #102, DeLand, IL.
