James Cameron Is Finally Getting Over 'Titanic' - ABC News

The film Titanic by James Cameron is one of the best romantic movies I have ever seen. I have seen this movie several times and it hits me every time with sadness and heartache. It may be a long movie but it tells the amazing love story of Jack and Rose, but then tragedy strikes. The editing/special effects are excellent during the scene when the ship begins to sink and break in half and people begin sliding down the ship trying to hold on for their lives. This is a movie I will never forget because of its history behind it, it’s a classic that will be around a long time.

The Titanic by James Cameron is hands down one of my favorite movies of all time. When the Titanic sinks it looks so life like. Part of what makes it so good is that it appeals to all different audiences. The love story between Jack and Rose is compelling, and keeps you at the edge of your seat wanting to see more. Every time this movie is playing on TV I can’t help but to watch it—even though it is even longer after adding commercials! The special effects in this movie are fantastic. When the boat sinks you are not thinking about the silly effects, instead you are feeling pain for all the innocent lives being lost.

I recently just watched the Titanic by James Cameron. I fell in love with this classic romantic movie all over again. This movie perfectly intertwined both objective and subjective history, the tension between social classes, and even gender roles of men and women back in the mid 1900’s. This movie takes place on a beautiful ship, with a forbidden romance like the classical love tale of Romeo and Juliet. Jack is a low class citizen because he is a poor artist, while Rose is a high class citizen trying to save her family’s name. Rose has to chose between either saving her family’s name or having true love with Jack. Not only is there tension between Rose and Jack, but there is tension between both the rich and poor classes. When the boat starts to sink, many are forced to chose between right and wrong. Their are so many choices presented throughout the story that make this a thrilling and unpredictable movie.
