I know there are so many tutorials for headbands out there. This is my spin on how to make a headband– a zig zag headband. If you’re anything like me, you already have all the things you need on hand to make it.
This pretty yet practical knit headband pattern is perfect for days when your hair isn't cooperating. The Everyday Zig Zag Headband features a simple, classic stitch with a fun, contrasting i-cord border. This stylish hair accessory is fastened by an elastic cord, adding comfort and stretch. The Everyday Zig Zag Headband looks lovely in the colors shown, but any other color worsted weight yarn would look great, too.
Glue it into place.
Cut another piece of felt to place over the
back of the headband to finish it off.
Glue that on the back of the headband like so:
And there you have the finished Zig Zag Headband:

This headband is totally tubular (meaning awesome if you are a product of the 80's). This headband is so versatile as you can wear it so many different ways! Folded, reversible, scrunched up, laid flat, over those dreads, or however else you come up with. Can be doubled up and put on your wrist as an easy way to carry it around when you aren't using it in your hair (or to make a groovy bracelet). Take these along on camping trips, festivals, traveling, snowboarding, or any time you think you might want to tame that hair or just have a funky accessory. You can even pull it over your ears when you are cold! Don't be without your Tubular Headband anywhere you go!! Made & printed in the USA. Eco-blend of 50% organic cotton and 50% recycled plastic bottles with raw, unfinished seams. 8.5 inches wide *Customer Review: I added the Zig Zag Tubular Headband to my hair accessory stash because I loved my Purple Tubular Headband! This headband is super soft and I love that it isn't too tight on my head as most headbands are. It can be worn fully open, sort of bandana style, folded up as a thinner headband and it's also super cute with a high messy bun. Cool design, peaceful shade of blue, made of recycled plastic and organic cotton....love it! ~Natalie
